கடத்தூர் அருகே ரேகடஅள்ளியில் ஊராட்சி ஒன்றிய நடுநிலை பள்ளி செயல்பட்டு வருகிறது. இப்பள்ளியில் பணியாற்றும் கணிதஆசிரியர் மதனகோபால், மாணவ, மாணவிகளின் பயன்பாட்டிற்காக ₹3.60 லட்சம் மதிப்பீட்டில், கம்ப்யூட்டர் மற்றும் புதிய நூலகத்தை அமைத்து கொடுத்துள்ளார்.

பத்தாம் வகுப்பு மாணவர்களுக்கான மாநில அளவிலான தேசிய திறனாய்வுத் தேர்வு (என்டிஎஸ்இ-நிலை 1) ஞாயிற்றுக்கிழமை நடைபெறவுள்ளது.
தமிழகத்தில் இத்தேர்வினை 1 லட்சத்து 59,030 தேர்வர்கள் 505 மையங்களில் எழுதவுள்ளனர். காலை 9 மணி முதல் காலை 11 மணி வரை மனத்திறன்(MAT) தேர்வும், காலை 11.30 மணி முதல் பிற்பகல் 1.30 மணி வரை படிப்பறிவுத் தேர்வும் (SAT) நடைபெறும். காலை 11 மணி முதல் காலை 11.30 மணி வரை இடைவேளை.
தேர்வெழுதும் மாணவர்கள் தேர்வு தொடங்குவதற்கு ஒரு மணி நேரம் முன்னதாக (காலை 8 மணிக்கு) தேர்வு மையங்களில் இருக்குமாறு கேட்டுக் கொள்ளப்படுகிறார்கள் என அரசுத் தேர்வுகள் துறை இயக்குநர் தண்.வசுந்தராதேவி தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.

வீடு, வீடாக டெங்கு தடுப்பு நடவடிக்கை நாமக்கல் மாவட்ட ஆட்சியர் ஆய்வு



நாமக்கல், நவ.2:  நாமக்கல்லில் வீடு, வீடாக சென்று டெங்கு தடுப்பு நடவடிக்கையை கலெக்டர் ஆய்வு செய்தார்.
நாமக்கல்  நகராட்சி பகுதியில், டெங்கு தடுப்பு நடவடிக்கை பணிகள் கடந்த ஒரு மாதகாலமாக  நடைபெற்று வருகிறது. தினமும் கொசு ஒழிப்பு பணியாளர்கள் வீடு, வீடாக சென்று  சுற்றுப்புறத்தை தூய்மையாக பராமரிக்கும்படி மக்களிடம் அறிவுறுத்தி  வருகிறார்கள். கொசு ஒழிப்பு மருந்தும் அடிக்கப்பட்டு வருகிறது. இந்நிலையில்  நேற்று, நாமக்கல் கலெக்டர் ஆசியாமரியம், பிள்ளையார் கோயில் தெருவில் டெங்கு  தடுப்பு நடவடிக்கையை ஆய்வு செய்தார். அப்போது பெண்களை சந்தித்த  கலெக்டர், டெங்கு கொசுக்கள் உற்பத்தியாகாமல் பார்த்து கொள்ளும் படி  அறிவுறுத்தினார். வீடுகளில் உள்ள பிளாஸ்டிக் டிரம்களில் தேங்கியுள்ள  தண்ணீரை பார்வையிட்ட கலெக்டர், அதில் டெங்கு கொசுக்கள் இருக்கிறதா என ஆய்வு  செய்தார். அப்போது நகரில் மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்டு வரும் தடுப்பு நடவடிக்கை  குறித்து சுகாதார அலுவலர் பேச்சிமுத்து கலெக்டரிடம் விளக்கினார். அந்த  பகுதியில் கொசுமருந்து அடிக்கும் பணியை மக்களிடம் கேட்டறிந்தார். அனைத்து  வீடுகளுக்கும் சென்று கண்காணிக்க வேண்டும் என நகராட்சி ஊழியர்களை  அறிவுறுத்தினார்.இந்த ஆய்வின் போது நகராட்சி சுகாதார அலுவலர் பேச்சிமுத்து, துப்புரவு அலுவலர் உதயக்குமார் ஆகியோர் உடனிருந்தனர்
