காற்று மாசுப்பாட்டால் குழந்தைகளுக்கு அதிக பாதிப்பு
ஒவ்வொரு வருடமும் 15 வயதுக்கு உட்பட்ட 6 லட்சம் குழந்தைகள் அசுத்தமான காற்றால் இறப்பதாக உலக சுகாதார அமைப்பு விடுத்த அறிக்கையில் குறிப்பிடப்பட்டுள்ளது.
ஒவ்வொரு நாளும், 15 வயதுக்கு உட்பட்ட குழந்தைகளில் 93 சதவிகிதம் அதாவது 1.8 பில்லியனுக்கும் அதிகமான குழந்தைகளும், 5 வயதுக்கு உட்பட்ட குழந்தைகளில் 630 மில்லியன் குழந்தைகளும் பாதிக்கப்பட்டுக் கொண்டிருக்கின்றனர்.
2016-ம் ஆண்டு மட்டும் 6 லட்சம் குழந்தைகள் மாசுபட்ட காற்று காரணமாகக் குறைந்த சுவாச நோயால் இறந்திருக்கிறார்கள் என்று உலக சுகாதார நிறுவன அறிக்கையில் குறிப்பிடப்பட்டுள்ளது. இது ஒரு மோசமான விளைவாகும். தினம் தினம் மாசுபடும் காற்றானது, குழந்தைகளின் உயிரை எடுத்துக் கொண்டிருக்கிறது.

10+2 Technical Entry Scheme – 90 (Vacancies are provisional and can be changed depending on the training capacity at the Training Academy for this course. The vacancies are subject to increase/decrease keeping the organizational requirement at the point of time.
Eligibility Criteria for Indian Army 10+2 Technical Entry Scheme:
As per the recent Indian Army notification 2018, the eligibility details like Educational Qualification & Age Limit for the 10+2 Technical Entry Scheme job has given below.
Educational Qualification:
Only those candidates who have passed 10+2 Examination or its equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 70% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from recognized education boards are eligible to apply for this entry. Eligibility condition for calculating PCM percentage of various state /central boards will be based on marks obtained in Class XI I only
Age Limit:
For Gen/ UR Candidates
A candidate must not be below 16 years and above 19 years on the first day of the month in which the course is due to commence i.e. the candidate should not be born before 01 Jan 2000 and not after 01 Jan 2003 (both days inclusive).

Medical Examination:
(i) The candidates must be in good physical and mental health and free from any disease/disability which is likely to interfere with the efficient performance of duties.
(ii) There should be no evidence of weak constitution, bodily defects or under weight.
(iii) The minimum acceptable height is 157.5 ems. For Gorkhas and individuals belonging to hills of North Eastern regions of India, Garhwal and Kumaon, the minimum acceptable height will be 5 ems less. In case of candidates from Lakshadweep, the minimum acceptable height can be reduced by 2 ems.
